If the problems of our world are interconnected, so are the solutions.
Tasked with creating a curtain raiser for UNEP's 2015 Eye on Earth Summit where environmental leaders and citizen scientists joined to discuss the role of data in achieving actionable change around Eight Special Initiatives, I sought to create a diverse array of visual devices that artfully convey existing and developing technology being used around the globe to close the "data gap." With the help of my partners at YOND3R who wrote the script and managed the voiceover talent and audio, we brought together footage from filmmakers around the globe and composited and overlaid a graphic treatment that cohered the aesthetic.
