Manifest Equality
In early 2010, I had the pleasure of working with two amazing artists: Damon Locks and Amy Rice. They were participating in a huge group art show called Manifest Equality, and they offered their work to be deconstructed and turned into a couple teasers for the show.
It feels like a very intimate thing to "take apart" a finished piece of art, but both Damon and Amy were gracious enough to send me layers of their process which made these animations possible. And yes, because their original dimensions were not intended for video, I decided a square was much more flattering to the artwork.
